46 CRR 143.205(a) - Machinery systems must be designed and maintained to provide for safe operation of the towing vessel and safety of persons onboard under normal and emergency conditions. It was reported that the vessel lost power due to running out of fuel in the Stbd GenSet's day tank. The crew refilled that tank and a technician satisfactorily tested the generator under load.
