When major alterations or major repairs of tank vessels become necessary the work shall be done under the direction of the Officer in Charge, Marine Inspection, and shall be in accordance with the regulations in effect for new construction insofar as possible. CBC 306 bow void was damaged approximate 4' hole on FWD PORT side of bow rake with damaged internal framing. Make necessary repairs to satisfaction of OCMI.

Resolution: Verified repair of hole in barge. IMT cut out a 18" x 18" portion and replaced it with new steel. Cargo Tank #3 was tested at 1 p.s.i with soap to confirm integrity of cargo envelope.
