Barge shall be maintained in satisfactory condition and fit for the service which it is intended. Barge allided with bridge on 27 March 2022 and sustained an inset and other potential damage. Provide damage survey from the marine surveyor and receive clearance from Coast Guard Sector Mobile prior to cargo loading/unloading. -Amended Def Barge shall be maintained in satisfactory condition and fit for the service which it is intended. Barge allided with bridge on 27 March 2022 and sustained an inset and other potential damage. Barge is permitted to transit to Decatur, AL for product offload. Once offload is complete and more freeboard is exposed, another visual assessment shall be conducted prior to transiting to Houston, TX to enact permanent repair. Report should be made to the Coast Guard upon arrival to Decatur, departure from Decatur, and arrival in Houston. No product may be carried or deviation from the route without express authorization from the Coast Guard.
