Portable and semi-portable fire extinguishers must be inspected, maintained, and tested in accordance with the inspection, maintenance procedures, and hydrostatic pressure tests required by Chapters 7 and 8 of NFPA 10, Standard for Portable Fire Extinguishers. Vessel's semi-portable 160-B fire extinguisher was found to be overdue for hydrostatic testing. Replace 160-B fire extinguisher in kind. 46 CFR 142.240(a)(1)
