In general, compliance with the standards established by ASB will be considered as satisfactory evidence of the structural efficiency of the vessel. However, in special cases, a detailed analysis of the entire structure or some integral part may be made by the Coast Guard to determine the structural requirements. Provide proof of structural integrity and ndt reports for satisfactory test of mast and struts and all related equipment/fasteners.

Provide photos of repairs to HPU motors. Provide Masters statement of repairs and satisfactory working condition of equipment.

Swing compass and provide current compass deviation card.

Provide current HRU's for life rafts.

Establish policy / program to conduct testing within 32 hours of a marine casualty.

Renew chaffed / deteriorated fuel ines to main engines (fuel in / fuel out).

No detailed specifications are provided for the duplex and triplex fuel filters, items 2 and 3. Fuel filter housings must be of all-metal construction in compliance with 46 CFR 56.10-5(c)(5) and 56.60-20(a), i.e., not heat sensitive, and suitable for the system pressure. As an alternative, the fuel filters may comply with ASTM Standard F1201, Standard Specification for Fluid Conditioner Fittings in Piping Applications Above 0°F, including the fire test of 7.2.
