Thermal Fluid Heaters must be operationally tested and all safety and limit controls must be checked at Periodic Inspections. The vessels Thermal Fluid Heater was unable to be tested due it being locked out due to loaded cargo with low flash point. System must be tested by marine inspector prior to loading any cargo which needs Thermal Fluid Heater.

During damage survey of vessel Coast Guard Marine Inspectors(CG MI) found approximate 14' X 2' section located in the port quarter void that is required to be cropped and renewed. Owner shall make vessel available to CG MI for visual inspection of internal void spaces associated with damage to futher assess potential internal structural damage. All repairs sshall be made to the satisfaction of an attending CG MI.
