For each breathing apparatus a fireproof lifeline of at least 30M in length shall be provided. The lifeline shall successfully pass an approval test by statical load of 3.5kN for 5 min without failure. The lifeline shall be capable of being attached by means of snap-hook to the harness of the apparatus or to a separate belt in order to prevent the breathing apparatus becoming detached when the lifeline is operated. MI observed multiple lifeline snap-hooks missing or not able to be operated as per design standards(corrosion. Replace or repair all required lifelines to the above required standard and submit to class for satisfactory approval. Upon class approval submit proper documentation to MI for correction. 16AC MODUCODE(09)9.13.1 FSSCODE(15)2.1.3
