Resolved
The hull and deckhouses shall be of steel or iron construction except that the pilothouse and decks over quarters may be constructed of wood. Scantlings, material, and workmanship, subdivision of cargo spaces, fitting of cofferdams, and testing of tanks shall be at least equivalent to the requirements of the American Bureau of Shipping or other recognized classification society.
Received report of a crack on the top side of the stern void on the starboard side, no water ingress. Crew is to apply temporary repair in form of puddy and keep a water pump on standby. Crew will also conduct rounds of the damaged space with each watch change. The vessel is permitted transit directly to Greenville for the purpose of completing a damage survey and enacting more complete temporary repairs. Prior to movement from Greenville, vessel must submit the results of the damage survey and a transit plan to the satisfaction of the USCG.
