PSCO observed tank fixed temperature sensors for 5 stbd, 4 & 3 port were alarming intermittently throughout the exam and alarm history indicated alarms have been malfunctioning for several months. Vessel has restricted temp. sensing devices onboard. Vessel prohibited from carrying chemicals requiring closed gauging in tanks 5 Stbd, 3&4 port. SOLAS (74) Amend. 2014 Cons. VII/10.1 IBC Code 7.1.5
