After any survey of the ship under regulation 10 of this chapter has been completed no change shall be made in the structural arrangements, machinery, equipment, etc. covered by the survey, without the sanction of the administration. PSCO observed heavily wasted areas on the sewage treatment plant main tank. The wasted areas allow potentially hazardous gas into normally occupied areas. The construction of all A class doors shall provide resistance to fire and smoke passage. Entry door into machinery space located forward below galley has rust holes in the frame and does not seal properly. Entry door into generator space does not seal correctly and has wood as bottom frame seal.

Resolution: Entry doors to machinery space and generator space were resealed and repaired. Pictures of repairs from vessel were received and found to be satisfactory.
