Following the blackout, the EDG failed to automatically start (SOLAS 74 Chap II-1 Regs 42 3.1.2) Approximately (4) minutes later after engineer switched EDG from air to battery start, EDG Auto started. Replicate, investigate failure & resolved to class satisfaction.
