A dry dock examination conducted in compliance with 46CFR115.600 of this part must be conducted while the vessel is hauled out of the water... During the examination all accessible parts of the vessel's underwater body and all through hull fittings, including the hull plating, appendages, propellers, shafts, hearings, rudders, sea chests, sea valves and sea strainers shall be made available for examinations. MI discovered both Port and STBD lower rudder, and strut bearings to be worn. Replace both rudder bearings, and strut bearings prior to credit dry. Due to dry dock availability and parts, vessel is permitted to operate with passengers no later than 31 OCTOBER 2022. At which date, vessel's dry docking date expires, and operation with passengers is not permitted until repairs have been made. If steering, or propulsion, shafting changes, notification to the USCG must be made.

14 lifejackets need retroflective tape replaced.

01 ring buoy needs to be re-labled.

Quarter size hole penetrating the hull IVO bottom forward of the starboard side door, main deck, in front of galley.

Replace port MDE cooling hose and double hose clamp.

Make VHF radio operational.

Replace Buoyant lifeline

Replace battery in waterlight.

Obtain proper BII fire extinguisher for galley on main deck. Currently wrong size,. IAW 46 CFR 181.500

Electric sewage pump motor is missing the junction box cover, install or re-new accordingly.

#3 bilge void suction line, must have check valve installed. If installed clean and check if working properly. If not installed install a check valve accordingly.

Cap the open 3/4 inch pipe within the #4 compartment (centerline fwd bulkhead).

Re-wire the receptacle in aft steering compartment stbd side, indicates open ground.

Install the side cover on port side A/C Air Handler unit in aft steering compartment; Cover open.

Service Portable Fire Extinguisher in Engine Room (lower aft center).

Fix or install a proper belt (fwd) guard on the stbd generator.

Re-wire receptacle on stbd side lower engine room indicates open ground.

Label circuit breakers in power panels lower port side of engine room.

Install missing lagging on both propulsion engine exhaust pipes as required.

Remove and replace oil soaked insulation located above the port main engine.

Re-secure overhead insulation thru out the engine room as required.

Refasten Stbd Main engine cooling water suction piping.

Install Chaffing hose on Main engines and generators fuel oil lines or hoses to prevent chaffing where required.

Install a Battery Box cover on Port Generator Starting batteries.

Deck stringer in sewage tank compartment has been cropped out. Replace deck stringer as original to satisfaction of a Coast Guard Marine Inspector. 46 CFR 116.300

Bulkhead between engine room and aft void have 4 non watertight penetrations to port side of watertight door. Make penetrations watertight. 46 CFR 114.400 to the satisfaction of a Coast Guard Marine inspector.

REPAIR/RENEW HIGH WATER BILGE ALARM IN AFT COMPARTMENT

Install a switch to silence alarm for high water bilge alarm.

Install pilot house controls for Main Engine start and stop as per 46CFR114.400

Provide and Post Emregency broadcast placard

PROVIDE STABILITY LETTER TO COGNIZANT [name withheld] OF PASSENGERS.

PROPERLY STOW AND LABLE STOWAGE AREA FOR ALL CHILD SIZED LIFE PRESERVERS PRIOR TO CARRIAGE OF PASSENGERS.

REMOVE BLODGETT CONVECTION OVEN AND VULCAN/HART RANGE FROM SNACK AREA OF VESSEL PRIOR TO THE CARRIAGE OF PASSENGERS.

CONDUCT FIRE AND RESCUE DRILLS PRIOR TO THE CARRIAGE OF PASSENGERS.

CONTACT COGNIZANT [name withheld] AT FORT MADISON, IOWA PRIOR TO THE CARRIAGE OF PASSENGERS.

PROVIDE COVERS FOR EACH BATTERY BOX IN THE ENGINE ROOM.

PROVIDE A SAFETY SHIELD, ON THE UPPER PASSENGER DECK, WHICH OVER LOOK'S PADDEL WHEEL. (SAFETY SHIELD TO BE ABOVE HAND RAILS)

PROVIDE OR INSTALL A PRESSURE GAUGE ON THE DISCHARGE SIDE OF THE FIRE PUMP.

PROPERLY INSTALL SAFETY RELIEF VALVE ON THE HOT WATER TANK.
