At each annual inspection, the inspector must ensure that the following tests and inspections have been conducted: the fire main system must be operated, and the pressure checked at the most remote and highest outlets. A person may not employ or engage an individual in a position required to hold an MMC unless that individual maintains a current medical certificate. Captain's national medical endorsement expired. Provide proof of current medical endorsement prior to serving onboard an inspected vessel.

Vent outlets from all tanks which may emit flammable or combustible vapors must be fitted with a single screen of corrosion-resistant wire of a least 30 by 30 mesh. Emergency generator fuel tank vent screen covered in paint and restricting flow. Repair or replace screen.

Each entrance to a space storing carbon dioxide cylinders, a space protected by carbon dioxide systems, or any space into which carbon dioxide might migrate must be conspicuously marked as follows: Spaces protected by carbon dioxide - "CARBON DIOXIDE GAS CAN CAUSE INJURY OR DEATH. WHEN ALARM OPERATES OR WINTERGREEN SCENT IS DETECTED, DO NOT ENTER UNTIL VENTILATED. LOCK OUT SYSTEM WHEN SERVICING". The reference to wintergreen scent may be omitted for carbon dioxide systems not required to have odorizing units. Engine room missing required signage.

Nothing in this subpart shall be construed as limiting the inspector from making such tests or inspections as he deems necessary to be assured of the safety and seaworthiness of the vessel. Bilge line in void 4 near aft bulkhead had salt buildup and signs of leakage around first welded portion above the strainer. Probing of the pipe did not reveal any significant wastage, fractures, or holes. Require pumping this void during COI renewal with a Marine Inspector present inside the void.

Bulkheads or decks of the ‘A’ class shall be composed of steel or equivalent metal construction. In addition, they shall be so insulated with approved structural insulation. Portion of insulation in main machinery room overhead deck found missing.

Radio lifesaving appliance installation and arrangements must meet the requirements of 47 CFR 80. Bridge to bridge and radio telephony certificates expired.

In general, compliance with the standards established by the American Bureau of Shipping, see subpart 70.35 of this subchapter, will be considered satisfactory evidence of the structural efficiency of the vessel. Lower channels on port and starboard weatherdeck doors associated with Presidential Suite have wastage and require repair at next credit drydock.

Identified several stanchions on the forecastle that are wasted; replace all wasted stanchions during the next drydock (12Jun2019).

Each individual bilge suction shall be fitted with a suitable bilge strainer. Bilge strainer is not properly attached to the bilge piping. Tightly fit bilge strainer onto bilge piping in Lazarette and Engineroom.46 CFR 56.50 (g)

Alteration of machinery and piping systems must be done under the cognizance of the OCMI and IAW the regulations in effect at the time of installation. PVC piping is installed on #1 and #1 MDE crankcase vents. Remove PVC piping and return installation to original.46 CFR 50.05-10

Flexible and Gasketed Mechanical Couplings must not be used where undetected flooding or impingement of liquid on vital equipment could disable the vessel. #1 and #2 MDE Jacket Water piping contain flexible couplings. Starboard Engine Jacket water piping also contains an mechanical coupling. Fire pump suction and discharge lines contain Mechanical couplings. Remove all couplings and repair pipes to original or repair IAW 46 CFR 56. 46 CFR 56.30-35, 46 CFR 56.30-40

Obtain a Certificate of Financial Responsibility (COFR) and provide sufficient documentation to the satisfaction of the attending U.S. Coast Guard Marine Inspector.

Provide required non-expired Aspirin in first aid kit to the satisfaction of the attending Coast Guard Marine Inspector.

Properly mark port bridge wing ring buoy with the vessel's hailing port to the satisfaction of the attending Coast Guard Marine Inspector.

Properly secure painter to weak link on both liferafts to the satisfaction of the attending Coast Guard Marine Inspector.

Ensure that all fire doors properly latch after being released from the control station to the satisfaction of the attending Coast Guard Marine Inspector.

Ensure that all vent dampers are of sufficient size to block off the air duct to the satisfaction of the attending Coast Guard Marine Inspector.

Provide properly sized tool to operate remote collision bulkhead bilge suction valve.

Properly calibrate rudder angle indicator in pilothouse.
