The battery chargers for the emergency generator and the lifeboat are both non-operational. A portable battery charge has been installed above the two chargers and is doing the job of both. The charger has been hard wired in the 24 volt panel and zip-tied to the wire-run in the overhead. SOLAS 74/2004 regulation 44 3.3 requires the charger for the generator be only used for that purpose.
