Internal combustion engine exhausts, boiler and galley uptakes, and similar sources of ignition must be kept clear of and suitably insulated from combustible material. Insulation above the starboard engine was hanging down and needs to be refasten.

MI discovered a temporary repair on the exhaust piping for the port main engine. The crew placed splash zone on the exhaust elbow where the cooling water injector is located due to a crack in the exhaust piping. Replace exhaust elbow piping in kind.
