A 6" Fracture was discovered in the stern void during loading operations. Loading operations were discontinued. Wood wedges were driven in fracture, epoxy coating applied to exterior bottom, cement box patch applied to interior. Vessel permitted to proceed to Calvert City KY to offload cargo, then proceed to Paducah KY for haul-out, evaluation for permanent repairs. Permanent repairs shall be approved to the satisfaction of an attending CG MI.
