Noted routing of MDE throttle cable, transmission control cable, and electrical cable from helm control topside thru the deck opening for steering gears and chain; may cause chafing of cables posing significant risk of control failure for throttle, transmission, steering, and electrical hazard. Issued requirement to reroute all cables to avoid contact with steering system moving parts.
