46 CFR 58.05(a) The material, design, construction, workmanship, and arrangement of main propulsion machinery and of each auxiliary, directly connected to the engine and supplied as such, must be at least equivalent to the standards established by the ABS Steel Vessel Rules. Vessel shall repair A-end #3 thrust bearing to original, prior to departure.

The fixed CO2 firefighting system lockout valve must be locked open at all times, excpet while maintenance is being performed on the system, when the valve must be locked in the closed position. The CO2 system lockout valve had no lock installed as required. 46 CFR 76.15-50(e)
