Severe corrsion and wastage was found in two areas in way of #2 port tank top plating . During inspection unauthorized temporary repairs were also found in one area of wastage with the other area unrepaired and open to the atmosphere. An 835 was written to repair this area before next cargo operation. Plan is to surrender COI.
