Vessel has sustained damage to hull, water tight integrity of the vessel is compromise. In general, compliance with the standards established by the American Bureau of Shipping, see subpart 90.35 of this subchapter, will be considered as satisfactory evidence of the structural efficiency of the vessel. However, in special cases, a detailed analysis of the entire structure or some integral part may be made by the Coast Guard to determine the structural requirements. Repairs to hull must be conducted. Vessel is allowed to transit to shipyard to conduct repairs. Vessel will not be allowed to leave shipyard until repairs are complete.
