Scantlings, material, and workmanship, subdivision of cargo spaces, fitting of cofferdams, and testing of tanks shall be at least equivalent to the requirements of the American Bureau of Shipping or other recognized classification society. During the Periodic Inspection, Sector Houston-Galveston identified an inset approx. 21' foot long on the gunwale of the starboard side bow rake. The vessel is to conduct permanent repairs by 30 days to the satisfaction of Coast Guard Marine Inspector. 46 CFR 32.60-1(a) 50c
