All cargo tank hatches must be clearly marked in not less than three inch lettering “Danger - Keep Out,”. #1 Forward Cargo Tank Hatch cover missing danger signage by hatch. Label hatch as required.

Bolts and studs must extend completely through the nuts. Bolts to cargo tank top flange blanks do not completely go through the nuts. Install appropriate sized bolts as required.

The transfer procedures required by § 155.720 must be: Available for inspection by the COTP or OCMI whenever the vessel is in operation. Transfer procedures on vessel are for old owner/operator. Update transfer procedures with new owner requirements.

Copies of the submitted and approved response plan must be available as follows: The vessel owner or operator must maintain a current copy of the entire plan, and ensure that each person identified as a qualified individual and alternate qualified individual in the plan has a current copy of the entire plan. Tank Vessel Response Plan on vessel is for old owner/operator. Provide copy of approved Tank Vessel Response Plan with new owner information.

Boilers, main and auxiliary machinery, and piping systems shall conform to the requirements of subchapter F (Marine Engineering) of this chapter. Materials, items of equipment, or installations in vessels which have been accepted and passed as satisfactory and meeting the applicable requirements in this subchapter then in effect and which are maintained in good and serviceable condition to the satisfaction of the Officer in Charge, Marine Inspection, may be continued in use until replacement is deemed necessary by such officer or as specified in the regulations. Hydraulic hose for engine start system wasted. Replace with new.
