The survey shall be such as to insure that the necessary repairs or renewals have been effectively made, that the material and the workmanship of such repairs or renewals are in all respects satisfactory, and that the vessel complies in all respects with the regulations in this subchapter. Vessel ran aground and is currently leaking oil from stbd Z-drive. Conduct damage assessment and make proper repairs as necessary to the satisfaction of Marine Inspector prior to commercial operatins.

The revised NOx Technical Code 2008 shall be applied in the certification, testing and measurement procedures for the standards set forth in this regulation. In accordance with Regulation 13.2.1.1 of MARPOL Annex VI all engines over 130kw placed on board the vessel after 1 January 2000 must meet emission standards set forth by the convention. Chapter 2.1 of the NOx Technical Code 2008 states that this is certified by issuance of an EIAPP Certificate(Engine International Air Pollution Prevention Certificate). The vessel currently does not have EIAPP certificates for the Port and Starboard Jet Pumps. Prior to sailing foreign provide EIAPP and Technical Files for each engine. During the test of the CO2 system, all test CO2 was taken up by the engine and blown out of the exhaust stack, without the engine ever shutting off. 46 CFR 112.50-1
