Means shall be provided whereby normal operation of propulsion machinery can be sustained or restored even though one of the essential auxiliaries becomes inoperative. Vessel discovered leakage in way of the main engine No.6 unit high pressure hydraulic pipe for the exhaust valve causing the engine to be shutdown. Rectify deficiency prior to departure from current anchored position in Toledo, Oh.
