For each alternating current generator, a means for measuring frequency must also be provided. Vessel's voltmeter on the Northern Lights generator was not functioning properly as it was showing voltage even with generator off. O/O is to provide a properly functioning voltmeter to the satisfaction on attending marine inspector.
