All waste-receptacles shall be constructed of non-combustible materials with no openings in the sides or bottom. Plastic garbage cans were used to store combustible garbage in the main laundry, spa treatment rooms, main theater and throughout the embarkation deck. 74 SOLAS 97 II-2/18.5 16a

The machinery...associated piping systems and fittings shall be of a design and construction adequate for the service for which they are intended. While testing the emergency diesel generator, PSCO observed a fuel leak (approximately 1 drop/10 sec) on the fuel priming pump. 74 SOLAS 04 II-1/26.1 10c

It was discovered that there were exposed, dead end wiring from unknown sources in the port, upper HVAC room and in common ways on various decks of the vessel presenting a potential electrical hazard to personnel. All dead end wiring on-board must be capped and/or removed. Must correct to the satisfaction of attending RO that this has satisfactorily been completed in accordance with the vessel maintenance plan prior to sailing with passengers.
