Propulsion machinery, including main engines, reduction gears, shafting, bearings, and electrical equipment and systems, must:(3) Have suitable propulsion controls to provide the operator full control at each operating station. Vessel self reported experiencing a loss of control to their port main engine. Conduct satisfactory repairs and conduct sea trials to the satisfaction of the TPO prior to carriage of cargo. 46 CFR 143.205 (c)(3)
