On May 25, 2022, an 835 was issued stating "Main Salon rod reel line spool machine unit has multiple cable splices in power cord. Reel spool machine unit power cord must be of an approved type per its manufacturer. Must replace cable or remove unit." On September 30, 2022 the vessel was found to have the spool machine back on board and in service. Equipment must be removed prior to carrying passengers.

Each overnight accommodation space on a vessel with overnight accommodations for passengers must be fitted with an independent modular smoke detecting and alarm unit. Stateroom H was found to have a smoke detector without a battery after attempting to test it. Vessel must replace battery and ensure unit is operational in addition to testing and ensuring proper operation of all smoke detectors onboard prior to carriage of passengers. Licensed Mariner must provide statement in writing, signed with their MMC Reference # to the full operability and completion of satisfactory testing on all smoke detectors onboard.

AIS must be maintained in effective operating condition, which includes the continual operation of AIS and its associated devices at all times while the vessel is underway or at anchor, and, if moored at least 15 minutes prior to getting underway. The AIS installed on board was not transmitting and has not been transmitting since January 2, 2022. The vessels AIS was found in the off position at the time of the in service inspection but when it was turned on the AIS was still not transmitting. Vessel must ensure AIS is operating as designed. The vessel must rectify prior to the carriage of passengers after October 8, 2022.

Each door, hatch, or scuttle, used as a means of escape, must be capable of being opened by one person from either side, in both light and dark conditions. The method of opening a means of escape must be obvious, rapid, and of adequate strength. The escape hatch from aft passenger berthing was blocked by an anti slip carpet in a manner preventing the usage of the escape hatch.
