01 07102 74 SOLAS (01) II-2/62 resolution a.567(14) 50ac The requirements for inert gas systems contained in the Fire Safety Code need not be applied to Chemical Tankers ... developed by the organization ... suitable means shall be provided for the zero and span calibration of both fixed and portable gas concentration measurement instruments. PSCO found nitrogen generator was unable to be checked for calibration with span gas on board to verify oxygen % produced. Annex I cargo with a flash point below 60deg C not to be carried until deficiency is rectified.
