Vessel is required to be fitted with a normally closed venting system fitted with a device to automatically limit the pressure or vacuum in the tank to design limits per 46 CFR 151.05-1 Table. Vessel had vertical vent check valves installed on P/S tanks designated to carry methanol. Per COI, vessel is capable of carrying methanol which is a Class C flammable cargo. Vessel may not carry methanol or flammable cargo's in the methanol integral tanks until pressure/vacuum vents are installed.
