Operator shall schedule a 3rd party rigging survey in the presence of USCG, to include rigging inspection aloft, furler disassembly and provide a survey report. 46 CFR 176.802 (a)(3)

Resolution: The mainsail has been temporarily removed the vessel due to continuing issues with the internal furling system. A modification is in development with a local rigger to relocate the furling system from internal to the mast to external.

Vessels at least 26 feet in length must have an audible and visual bilge high water level alarm indicator at the operation station. Vessel's bilge high water level alarm is wired on the same circuit as the bilge pump auto switch. If this switch were secured then the alarms would not sound. Vessel is required to conduct inspection of bilges every 15 minutes while passengers are on board. Vessel is also required to carry one additional deckhand until bilge alarm is wired on a dedicated circuit.

Stbd hull berth area – identified a previous FRP and resin repair that is failing to bond to vessel structure. Old repair is to be removed and a new repair is to be made. Removal of old repair revealled a 4" x 4" section of rotten wood core. The wasted core is to be cropped and renewed.
