SOLAS(2001) II-2/44.2.2 ACTION: 40(a)(c) FOR DETERMINING THE APPROPRIATE FIRE INTEGRITY STANDARDS TO BE APPLIED TO DIVISIONS BETWEEN ADJACENT SPACES, SUCH SPACES ARE CLASSIFIED ACCORDING TO THEIR FIRE RISK AS SHOWN IN CATEGORIES (1) THROUGH (11) BELOW. PASSAGE WAY WITH SLIDING DOOR BETWEEEN THE GALLEY AND DUTY MESS DOES NOT HAVE A FIRE RATING. THE GALLEY (SERVICE SPACE) BULKHEAD ADJOINING THE DUTY MESS (ACCOMODATION SPACE) IS CLASSED AS AN "A" BOUNDARY.
