Except as otherwise provided in this section, all fixed fire extinguishing systems shall be of an approved carbon dioxide type and installed to the satisfaction of the Officer in Charge, Marine Inspection. Upon testing of the CO2 system pressure switches to simulate the discharge of CO2 into the protected space, both mains engines, generators, and blowers did not shutdown upon activation of pressure switches. Demonstrate proper operation of system in the presence of attending marine inspector.
