Li-ion batteries and devices should be securely stored in a dry and cool location away from combustible material. MI observed Li-ion batteries, chargers, and associated equipment stored in the PORT AFT vestibule, a heated space. Relocate batteries to a cool, dry space.

MI observed through hull fitting located in deck of PORT side jet room missing a handle and preventing proper operation. Make permanent repair to through hull fitting to the satisfaction of the attending Coast Guard MI.
