When an exemption is granted to a ship under and in accordance with the provisions of the present regulations a certificate called an exemption certificate shall be issued in addition to the certificate. PSCO observed the vessel did not have an exemption certificate listed in the Cargo Ship Safety Equipment certificate which states that the vessel is not required to have fixed fire fighting in its cargo holds. 74SOLAS I/12(a)(vii)
