Prove proper operation of the oily water separator to the satisfaction of the attending DNV class surveyor. Until such time, all Oily bilge water is to be retained aboard until the completion of a satisfactory test of the monitoring device and alarm. Proof of proper operation of the system to be provided to local OCMI and Coast Guard office in St. Croix.

Resolved 4 August 2006
Resolution: As per class report; the combined "smart-cell and smart-bilge" system was changed out in its entirety. Normal system operation was demonstrated by crew and witnessed by DNV with all function parameters, alarms, etc. found in good order.
