Materials used in inert gas system shall be suitable for their intended purpose. In particular those components which may be subjected to corrosive action of the gases and/or liquids are to be either constructed of corrosion-resistant material or lined with rubber, glass, fiber epoxy resin, or other equivalent coating materials. PSCO observed jacket cooling sea water leaking from pinhole leak in Inert Gas Generator combustion chamber weld seam. 0410- The condition of the ship and its equipment shall be maintained to conform with the provisions of the present regulations to ensure that the ship in all respects will remain fit to proceed to sea with out danger to the ship or persons on board. The meat room door was covered in ice, indicating a faulty seal on the door. In addition, the escape handle on the inside of the doof is seized and a hammer is being used to open the door. 74SOLAS(14)I/11 17ac
