The currently installed semi-portable extinguisher is installed inside the engine room where crew would be unlikely to safely access the extinguisher in case of a fire. Within 30 days, submit proposed plans for new arrangement that limits potential crew exposure to engine room fire. MSC has stated they may accept a pre-engineered system in lieu of a semi portable.
