A towing vessel must be maintained and operated so the watertight integrity and stability of the vessel are not compromised. While conducting repairs to bulkhead between the fore and aft stern voids to much heat was applied to the bottom corner of the bulkhead and created a hole which started slow water ingress. Vessel is allowed to travel the twenty-five miles to JMI Hahanville for repairs in accordance with its approved transit plan. Repairs must be affected before moving. Vessel TPO shall submit a report of satisfactory repairs to the local OCMI to meet the conditions of the 835.
