Machinery and electrical systems must be designed and maintained to provide for safe operation of the towing vessel and safety of persons on board under normal and emergency conditions. Vessel lost propulsion on STBD main engine due to turbo failure. Vessel is authorized to transit to James Marine Shipyard using assist tug as indicated in the approved transit plan. Provide a technician report identifying the root cause of STBD main engine failure.
