No extensive repairs to the hull or machinery which affect the safety of a vessel shall be made without the knowledge of the Officer in Charge, Marine Inspection. A Hole was discovered in the forward bow void due to bumping the bottom during transit, causing ingress of water. Vessel is authorized to transit from Lake Charles, LA to Sienna Shipyard in Orange, TX for repairs. All repairs are to be conducted to the satisfaction of the attending marine inspector. 46CFR31.10-25
