Barge is currently in a "laid-up" status for an undetermined amount of time. In addition, any hull exams that are due at the time the barge is expected to go back into service are required to be completed prior to operations. Owner/Operator shall submit Official request to the OCMI for any hull exam extensions during laid-up status, not to exceed 12 months. The barge must maintain a valid COI, including Annual and Periodic Inspections. Weekly inspections by the Owner, Operator, and/or Facility in which the barge is stored are required to be documented and made available to the local OCMI at any time requested. Owner/Operator shall surrender COI at the end of the fourth lay-up extension, or complete all required hull examinations. USCG Marine Safety Manual, Volume II, Section B., Chapter 3.A.4.d.(1).

Scantlings, material & workmanship shall be at least equivalent to requirements of ABS. Vessel is directed to make permanent repairs to the cargo pump motor, starboard loading manifold and wing void inset on starboard side prior to cargo operations and to the satisfaction of the attending marine surveyor. 46CFR32.60-1

Each cargo tank venting system must operate in accordance with type approval listed in 46 CFR 162.017. Both PV top lids did not completely cover top of vapor outlet because the hinges were seized and in disrepair. Repair PV's to the satisfaction of the attending USCG Marine Inspector within 30 days of this notice.
