Vessel COI has expired on 14JAN2025. Vessel permitted one time transit to Texas Marine Shipyard. Following completion of transit a COI inspection is required to be completed prior to departure.

Each integral fuel tank must have a vent that connects to the highest point of the tank, discharges on a weather deck through a bend of 180 degrees, and is fitted with a 30-by-30-mesh corrosion-resistant flame screen.
MI observed stbd gooseneck wasted at bend using non-approved methods to prevent flames from entering fuel tank. Vessel shall enact repairs to gooseneck and install 30x30 mesh flame screens.

Resolution: TECH conducted maintenance and resolved the issue. MIs attended and conducted visual inspection of port engine as well as conducting sea trials. VSL port engine now in good working order.
Closure devices must be provided for deckhouse or hull penetrations, which open to the exterior of the vessel and which may allow water to enter the vessel. Both port and stbd door gaskets were wasted. Replace gaskets and test closure.

A Bridge-to-Bridge certificate attesting to such functionality of the vessel's radios is required.
