The fire detection system on board, specifically within the engine room, is not properly maintained. The fire detection panel had illuminated notification labeled "trouble" to upper and lower engine room. Additionally, the "zone disabled" notification was illuminated at the Lower Engine Room level. The vessel must identify the issue with the fire detection and repair the system to meet regulatory standards.
