Fuel shutoff valves, installed as to close against the fuel flow shall be fitted in the fuel supply lines, one at the tank connection and one at the engine end. The shutoff valve at the tank shall be operable from outside the tank compartment, preferably from an accessible position on the weather deck. Identified port and stbd fuel shutoff valve ram rod was installed using plastic zip ties and a metal bowl. Prove permanent methods to hold position of fuel shutoff reach rods access from weather deck.
