Found a coffee can mounted under the vessels shaft seal used to catch oil leaking from the seal. The can is overflowing with oil and draining into the shaft alley bilge. Properly dispose of oil collected in the can and the shaft alley bilge. REPAIR OR REPLACE AS ORIGINAL THE DAMAGE IN WAY OF THE PLENUM, PORT BOILER.REPAIRS TO BE COMPLETED TO THE SATISFACTION OF THE COGNIZANT OCMI AND IN THE PRESENCE OF A CG MARINE INSPECTOR. THIS ITEM IS TO BE COMPLETED AT NEXTDRYDOCKING BUT NOT LATER THAN 5JAN87.

DEMONSTRATE THE PROPER OPERATION OF THE FIXED WATER SPRINKLER SYSTEM AND SERVICE IN THE PRESENCE OF A CG MARINE INSPECTOR. THIS ITEM IS TO BE COMPLETED AT THE NEXT DRYDOCKING OR CARGO DOWNLOAD OF THE VESSEL OR PRIOR TO 5JAN87.

ENSURE THAT ALL PORTABLE FIRE EXTINGUISHERS LISTED IN SOTEC SERVICING REPORT DATED 7NOV86 HAVE BEEN HYDROSTATICALLY TESTED WITHIN THE REQUIRED 5 YEAR INTERNAL. ADEQUACY TO BE DEMONSTRATED TO THE SATISFACTION OF THE COGNIZANT OCMI AT THE NEXT DRYDOCKING OR CARGO DOWN LOADING.

MAKE ALL BULK LIQUID CARGO TANKS AND PRESSURE VACUUM VALVES AVAILABLE FOR INSPECTION AT THE NEXT DRYDOCKING OR CARGO DOWN LOADING BUT NOT LATER THAN 31DEC86.
