Fixed gas fire extinguisher must be in accordance with operations and maintenance manual. Halon 1301 bottle was overcharged. Atlantis Ops manual also states Halon 1301 shall be at 360 PSIG at 70 degrees. Bottle was found at 460 PSIG. Provide servicing to bottle and provide bottle at proper PSIG. 46 CFR 181.410

The OCMI may require additional tests deemed reasonable and necessary to determine that the vessel is suitable for service. During post drydock test dive, 3 separate atmosphere monitoring meters detected levels of Carbon Monoxide between 15-35 ppm while at depth of 150 feet. Conduct satisfactory test dive at 150 feet for 90 minutes with no indication of any hazardous gas levels from a certified Marine Chemist. Submit documentation from a Marine Chemist as evidence of satisfactory atmospheric conditions onboard vessel to Coast Guard Sector Honolulu Inspections Division by email to: [email withheld]
