Propulsion machinery, including main engines, reduction gears, shafting, bearings, and electrical equipment and systems, must be maintained to ensure proper operation. On 28 May 2021, vessel reported inoperable coupling between starboard main engine and gear box while moored in Kahalui. Vessel must transit with assist tug for transit within harbors. Make notification to ABS and provide class report to USCG for approval prior to conducting towing operations. 46CFR143.205
