The hull and deckhouses shall be of steel or iron construction... shall be at least equivalent to the requirements of the American Bureau of Shipping or other recognized classification society. The deck gunwhale at port void space #2 and #4 had a smooth set-in, approximately 1" deep and 6" span. This is well above the waterline. Repair at next ISE which is due April of 2023.
