The Cat 1 EPIRB's battery has expired. Replace battery or provide and register a new Cat 1 EPIRB prior to carrying passengers.

Vessel operates in warm waters and is required to have survival craft for 50% of the 132 total allowed persons on board (61). Two of three equipped life floats (25 capacity each) are no longer in serviceable condition. Vessel is restricted to operating within three miles of shore when carrying more than 50 total persons on board.

Vessel sustained damage to the starboard side of the forward cross bar. Specifically: - The forward bracket connecting the starboard hull to the cross bar was crumpled and the welds were sheared. - A one foot section of the bottom plate of the cross bar was pulled backwards breaking the weld and bending/tearing the plate. Complete repairs and conduct a third-party rigging inspection prior to carrying passengers with sails raised.

Clearly mark each life jacket stowage location with the number and type of life jacket inside.

Clearly mark the maximum number of passengers (56) allowed on the upper deck.

01 of 03 life float waterlights had a cracked housing and could no longer keep the battery compartment watertight. Replace waterlight.

The vessel's mainsail had tears in the leech and luff. Replace mainsail prior to carrying passengers under sail.

The float-free link end of the life float painter extends beyond the bottom of the painter's canister preventing tension from being placed on the link. Stow the painter in a manner to allow the life floats to float-free. Prior to operating beyond 3 miles from shore.

The compartment containing the manual activation for the pre-engineered fixed gas fire extinguishing system is not separated from the space it protects. Seal the cable run in the Fireboy manual pull compartment.

VESSEL'S ENGINE ROOMS ARE NOT PROPERLY SEALED TO BE VAPOR TIGHT FOR SPACE PROTECTED BY PRE-ENGINEERED FIRE FIGHTING SYSTEM. SPECIFICALLY, THERE IS A LARGE MAN HOLE ON THE AFT OVERHEAD FOR BOTH THE PORT AND STARBOARD ENGINE ROOMS THAT WILL ALLOW FIRE EXTINGUISHING AGENT TO ESCAPE THE ENGINE ROOM AREA INTO AN APPROXIMATE 2 FOOT BY THREE FOOT BY FIFTEEN FOOT COFFERDAM/WIRE RUN. IT IS NOT CLEAR WHETHER THAT SPACE HAS BEEN ACCOUNTED FOR WITH THE SIZING OF THE BOTTLE INSTALLED TO PROPERLY EXTINGUISH A FIRE. ENSURE ENGINE ROOM IS VAPOR TIGHT TO ALLOW FOR PROPER FIRE EXTINGUISHING CAPABILITY OF FIRE-BOY SYSTEM OR PROVIDE MEASUREMENTS AND DOCUMENTATION ATTESTING TO THE SUFFICIENT SIZE OF BOTTLE FOR PROTECTED SPACE. THIS MAY BE AN ISSUE WITH OTHER VESSELS OF THE SAME BUILD WITHIN THE FURY FLEET

Make shaft tubes in way of drip-less shaft seal available for inspection at Drydock. Replace/repair STBD side drip-less shaft seal boot and hose clamp. *Prior to credit Drydock*

Mount submersible bilge pump to hull in Port Head compartment.

All deck rails on an excursion vessel accessible to passengers shall be 39.5 high and have courses at 4 inch intervals. Forward deck rails have excessive gaps that pose a potential hazard to passengers.

Repair/replace gasket on watertight hatch for Port Lazerette compartment.

Replace 03 Child and 11 Adult PFDs, PFDs were found not serviceable due to their inability to return to manufactures dimensions. Vessel is restricted to the carriage of 110 passengers, vessel must have 10% of child PFDs for the total amount of passengers.

Provide mousing for rigging shackles.

Make jib stay swageless fitting available for inspection by raising furling unit for attending Marine Inspector.

Provide guard in way of upper deck staircase on Port and STBD side for the passengers to prevent possible falls to lower cabin.

Fireboy system protecting starboard engine space has not been serviced since 2017. Must be serviced annually.

Each survival craft must be in good working order and ready for immediate use. Repair/replace life floats in accordance with 46 CFR 160.027. ROUTE REDUCED TO 03 MILES.

All life jackets must have TYPE I retro reflective (SOLAS Tape) in accordance with IMO resolution A.658(16)

Child and adult life jackets must be marked and separated from adult life jackets.

Each space covered by a separate fireboy system must be separated as to prevent ventilation crossover. Ensure each space is vapor tight including all access panels. Submit plans to local OCMI.

COI must be posted.

Over-current protection must be provided for each ungrounded conductor. There was not a fuse for the magnetic compass light or the anchor light. Limited to daytime operations only.

Bilge pipe piercing the collision bulkhead must be fitted with a screw down valve NOT a ball valve.

Permanently mount all submersible bilge pumps and high water alarms devices.

Provide plans and contract for installation of quick acting water tight doors between engine compartments and electrical space in accordance with vessels stability letter from 2011.

Aft port side deck drain hose missing clamp.

Main breaker on starboard side needs to be secured, it is currently loose.

Inverter needs grounding wire to ground

Electrical wires in port side lazaret need to be secured/supported.

Positive terminal on port side battery is corroded.

Light fixture missing cover in port side electrical room.

Handle missing from overboard discharge.

Add vessel information to emergency broadcast placard at operating station.

EPIRB missing registration sticker.

Install additional alarm and override switch for Fireboy systems so that each system is seperate.

Conduct sea trials with vessel under full sail with attending marine inspector.

Crop & renew identified areas in hull with pitting. (forward port compartment).

Repair/renew STBD hydraulic steering system. Demonstrate leak free operation.

Replace all standing and running rigging. Rigging over 18 years old.

Repair/renew crack near engine room hatch just above seating on deck.

Repair/renew pitting in port hull near shaft, STBD hull near bow, forward STBD compartment near keel.

Vessel must repair/replace both damaged rudders

Prove proper operation of fire pump. Pump shall maintain 60psi at pump discharge.

Crop and renew wasted port and starboard forward engine room bulkheads.

Label fuel cut-offs and the location of the manual fire boy activation

Provide a complete first aid kit

Make repairs to life floats in accordance with manufacture's instructions

Provide VHF radio with GPS input

Post donning placard for all types of PFDs onboard

Replace gasket on port engine room watertight door.

Provide spanner wrench for fire hose

Vessel did not connect lifefloats to sea painter after leaving drydock. Properly connect all lifefloats to sea painter.

Vessel only able to attain 50 PSI at fire pump discharge. Provide 60 PSI at fire pump discharge while nozzle is open.

Lable STBD fuel tank emergency shutoff valve pull.

Replace all wasted portions of bilge suction lines.

Prove proper operation of all bilge suction lines.

Provide visual indicator for automatic bilge pumps at the operating station or make them manual operation only.

Each child size lifejacket must be stowed in a location that is appropriately marked and separated from adult lifejackets so sizes are not mistaken.

Found hole from stbd snorkel locker to stbd bow void. Hole must be welded closed.

Cable/wiring in port and stbd engine spaces were not adequately supported with metal bands every 24"
